June Giveaway

The start of June has been truly a time when I felt a lot of things in the Universe moving swiftly, taking me somewhere I haven't really expected to end up. However wherever it brought me now, seems to be much more positive and exciting place than where I found myself in the last three years.

Professionally speaking,  it has been a hard year, with almost no light at the end of the tunnel, you know that feeling you get sometimes, and suddenly, as I thought it is definitely time for a change of scene, everything turned upside down and I have discovered that what I am looking for is waiting for me right where I currently am.

A friend posted a statement on Facebook yesterday -

Great things are always preceded by chaos

-and this seems to be exactly the case for me. I really hope that this trait will remain, but at the very least, it is fantastic to feel appreciated more than ever expected and that is what counts in life, isn't it?

So that is why I am late this month with a June Giveaway, please don't hold it against me )))

I love this issue of Patrones- a lot of cute dresses for every shape and style, I bought it last October in Spain, in fact I bought two issues, as it would be hard for me to part with it completely- there is a few models here that are on my to sew list.

You can read a more detailed review of this issue on Homemade Couture blog.

You can enter the Giveaway on our GIVEAWAY page- it is open for anyone, ships internationally and will end Saturday 30th June. The winner will be announced on the 1st of July.

  4. The sizing is totally different in Patrones, for me he hip-waist measurement is perfect, but the chest circumferrence is way too large in one size. Speaking about alterations, this year was a ground breaking year for me as I finally learnt that all patterns need alterations for perfect fit, as all human bodies are different.
